BWSC conducted a recent survey of past and present players to check how we were doing and assess possible areas for improvement and expansion. In all, we received 120 returns (over 45% return rate!) and include surveys passed on to people who may also be interested in our game! Shout out to all that participated! Here are a few of the specifics garnered from the responses:
Respondents range in experience playing walking soccer from none to over eight years with the average of 3 years
90 respondents were female while 30 were male
Coed games were preferred nearly 2 to 1 over same-gender games, with male-only games making up a notable portion of a relatively small number of responses.
Friday was the preferred day to play, followed by Monday, Sunday and then Wednesday.
Eastside and Burien/Federal Way were the preferred locations, followed by North Seattle.
The distribution across the seasons was fairly even, with spring, summer, and fall equally represented, and winter only a few points behind.
Playing outdoors was preferred, though a significant number were interested in indoor.
